Imlil

Enjoy a scenic drive up into the high Atlas mountains, make a few stops
along the way for the stunning panoramic views before you reach the village of Imlil, the center of a beautiful valley dominated the highest peak in North Africa Toubkal, rising up to nearly 14000 ft above sea level. Take a short walk around the valley before lunch or ride a mule to ascend to the village of Armed at more than 600 ft for more complete discovery of the national park.

Essaouira

Day trip to the old fortified fishing port of Essaouira on the atlantic
coast. Founded in the 16th. Century by the Portuguese and occupied by them until the mid 18th. Century when the trans-saharan trade routes fell apart. The present town dates to the 18th. Century . See the impressive town fortifications consisting of an amazing miwture of Portuguese and Berber architechture. Explore the Souks and the carpentry workshops devoted to cedar and Thuya wood carving. See Art galleries which are dotted in the city, and visit the fortified harbour with it’s stalls of freshly caught grilled fish.

Asni and Ouirgane

In about an hour from Marrakech lies this magnificent green valley, hidden in the foothills of Mount Toubkal, which is 4,165 m the highest point not only in Morocco but also in North Africa. You can visit the souk Tahanout (Tuesday and Saturday), drive through the river gorges Ghezaia way to Asni, famous for its amethyst and where you can find a variety of places to eat, unless you prefer to enjoy a picnic while watching the fabulous mountain scenery.

Cascade d’Oudes

Depart Marrakesh to the Cascades d’ Ouzoud to experience
one of the most spectacular sights in Morocco. Located in a plush valley, within friendly Berber village are three beautiful tiered waterfalls with a series of spectacular wide to narrow plunges that drop 110m into the river below. Trek along the river up to the caves or Gorges of Oued el- Abid or stay close by and enjoy the natural scenery. After lunch relax in a tent or straw hut located by the fresh pools. Take a swim in the refreshing water or stroll through the network of great paths leading to the basins below the cascades.
