8 days/7 nights Morocco Holiday

Day 1 Rabat - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, we will leave towards Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. We will visit the Medina of Meknes surrounded by ramparts, the Jewish quarter and the 2000-year-old Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Idriss Moulay. After lunch we will continue to Fes for diner and overnight in a beautiful traditional riad. (BD)

Day 2 Fes
We have the day to explore Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. You can visit the Medina, Médersas Attarine, Fontaine Ennajarine, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the Karawiyin Mosque. Overnight at the riad in Fes. (B)

Day 3 Fes - Midelt -Erfoud
After an early breakfast we will across the Middle Atlas Mountains. The day will be spent winding our way through the diverse landscape and Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains as we descend towards the Sahara Desert. We will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. and then continue to Erfoud for dinner and accommodation in a hotel. (BD)

Day 4 Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
Today we will explore the desert region or Merzouga. We will to discover the nomad's life style, visit the 'black' village of Khamlia to hear the gnaoua music performance and and enjoy the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. In the afternoon we will ride the camels across the dunes to see the spectacular sunset. After a traditional tagine dinner, delicious mint tea, traditional music and watching the stars and the rising moon we will spend the night in a bivouac (traditional nomad tent). (BD)

Day 5 Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
We will wake early in the morning to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. After breakfast, we will take the crossing the palms of Tourog and Tinjdad, on our way to visit Todra Gorges and Dades Gorges. We will have dinner and spend over night in a hotel in the gorges. (BD)

Day 6 Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast continue to Ouarzazate through the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs. In Ouarzazate we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studio. In the afternoon we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing over the High Atlas mountains through Tizi N'tichka Pass to arrive early evening in Marrakech. Overnight in a beautiful riad in Marrakech (BD)

Day 7 Marrakech

We will have the day to explore Marrakech; the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saâdien tombs and the Bahia palace, the Jamaa El Fna square with lively entertainment and colourful souks. Over night in the riad. (B)

Day 8 Marrakech - Casablanca
We will spend the morning at leisure for shopping or relaxing in Marrakech leaving mid afternoon to arrive in Casablanca by 4pm (or if you have a departing flight or want to spend time in Casablanca we can leave Marrakech at your convenience). (B)
